I'll dominate 'serious fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time world title holder Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a ยฃ1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
